Role Details
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise software systems
- Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across multiple applications
- Supervise and coordinate software development teams and IT application specialists
- Design and oversee integration of enterprise systems across departments
- Ensure system security, scalability, performance, and reliability
- Work with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Manage databases, application servers, and system deployments (on-premises and/or cloud)
- Oversee development and maintenance of microservices-based applications and APIs
⚙️ Technical Expertise Required
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python development
- Experience in full stack development — frontend and backend systems
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Experience with web frameworks and enterprise application development
- Knowledge of database systems — SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and DevOps practices is an advantage

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Master’s Degree in Software Engineering will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development and systems management
- Proven experience in managing development teams and enterprise systems
- Professional certifications in software development, cloud computing, or project management will be an added advantage
