Construction of Two (2) New Stores in Kanifing, Jimpex Road
The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of two (2) new stores at Jimpex Road, Kanifing, through the National Competitive Bidding procedure.
Public Notice
The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) has budgeted funds for the Construction of Two (2) New Stores in Jimpex, and intends to apply part of these funds towards payments under the contract for this works.
NAWEC now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedure in accordance with the requirements of the GPPA Procurement Regulations. Under the Tender process, there will be a public opening of all bids received.
A complete set of bid documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the Senior Procurement Manager and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of D10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Dalasi only).
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Bid and Contract Documents for the Procurement of Small Works of the Government of The Gambia.
Bidder Requirements
- Bidders must be eligible under the GPPA Procurement Regulations
- The bidder shall have performed previously two (2) similar contracts of a value of at least GMD 8,000,000.00 each within the last five (5) years
- All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of GMD 325,000.00, valid for 120 days
- Bids must be submitted in sealed form to the Records Office
- Late bids will be rejected

“Bids must be delivered to the Records Office on or before 24th November 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at 12:30 p.m. on the same day.”
