NAWEC invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement and supply of electrical cables and conductors to support the operations of the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Rural Project Department (RPD).

Tender Overview
NAWEC has budgeted funding for the procurement of Electrical Cables and Conductors through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) and intends to place a One-Off Contract for the supply and delivery of these materials to support the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Rural Project Department (RPD).
Goods shall be delivered to NAWEC Kanifing Store No. 2 within twelve (12) weeks upon signing of the contract or issuance of a purchase order (PO). All electrical materials supplied shall be original from authorized dealers and carry a one (1) year warranty.

1Obtain Bidding Documents Submit a written application to the Procurement Department by email and pay the non-refundable document fee of GMD 10,000.00 by bank transfer. Submit payment receipt to the Senior Procurement Manager.

2Inspect Documents & Submit Clarifications Documents may be inspected at the Procurement Department, NAWEC, 53 Mamadi Maniyang Highway, Kanifing during office hours (Mon–Thu: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.). Clarification requests must be submitted at least ten (10) days before the bid submission deadline.

3Prepare & Submit Sealed Bid with Bid Security Submit your sealed bid together with a bid security of GMD 1,000,000.00 (One Million Dalasi) from a reputable financial institution, to the Records Office, NAWEC Headquarters, 53 Mamadi Maniyang Highway, Kanifing on or before 12:00 p.m. on 25 July 2026.

4Public Bid Opening Bids will be opened publicly at 12:30 p.m. (local time) on 25 July 2026 at the Records Office, NAWEC Headquarters. Bidders’ representatives are welcome to attend in person.
