Background
The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) requires the provision of professional cleansing services across its rural and urban facilities. Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment is essential for staff productivity, occupational health, and the overall corporate image of NAWEC.
To ensure consistent standards, NAWEC intends to engage a qualified and experienced service provider to deliver comprehensive cleansing services in offices, operational spaces, and external areas. The selected provider will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness across all designated locations in accordance with established health and safety standards.
Scope of Services
The selected service provider will be required to deliver comprehensive cleansing services across all designated NAWEC facilities. The scope of assignment includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Shortlisting Criteria
NAWEC invites eligible consultant firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested firms must provide information demonstrating that they are qualified to perform the services, including descriptions of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, and availability of appropriate professional skills. Note that Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.
- Legal Status: Registered and legally operating in The Gambia
- Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in commercial cleaning services
- Track Record: Minimum of 3 similar contracts of comparable staff number and value completed in the last 3 years, demonstrating capacity to undertake assignments of this scale
