INVITATION TO BID
The National Water and Electricity Company Ltd (NAWEC) desires to engage the services of a qualified supplier to supply 95,000 Metric Tonnes of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) for its operations. The supply of HFO shall take the form of a framework contract over a period of One (1) year.
Specification and other requirements will be stated in the Bidding Document.
A complete set of Bidding Document may be purchased by interested bidders at a fee of USD 300.00 (Three Hundred US Dollars Only). Payment is to be made to NAWEC First International Bank Limited Account No. 04.108-001382-05. The receipt of payment shall be submitted to the Procurement Office at 53 Mamadi Maniyang Highway, Kanifing, before collecting the Bidding Document.
- Bids must be submitted electronically by email to jmurray@azorom.com and fkinteh@nawec.gm and locked with a password.
- The email must have the subject ‘’Procurement of 95,000 Metric Tonnes of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO)’’.
- The deadline for submission of bids is on Tuesday 10th November 2020.
- Bids will be opened virtually on the same day at 12:30 PM (immediately after closure of bid submission).
- Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 3% of the bid amount and a bid validity of 120 days.
