PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
NAWEC wishes to inform the general public that one of the KARPOWER engines is still out of service due to a technical problem. As a result, load shedding will continue in parts of the GBA.
A replacement part has been ordered and is expected to arrive soon.
This power deficit is also affecting the water distribution network in the Greater Banjul Area.
