NAWEC today reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the successful implementation of the e-Gambia Power Project at the Stakeholder Validation Workshop held in Banjul, with Mr. Sana Touray, Group Director Corporate Services, representing Managing Director Mr. Gallo Saidy.
Mr. Touray underscored the importance of collaboration among the Ministry, WARDIP, regulators, private sector partners, and all key stakeholders in ensuring the project’s success.
Mr. Touray highlighted NAWEC’s remarkable progress in expanding electricity access nationwide, noting that national electrification coverage has reached approximately 90% and is on track to achieve 100% by the end of 2026.
