The National Water and Electricity Company Limited invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified suppliers for the procurement and supply of the following electrical distribution materials under a Framework Contract. All items must be brand new and carry a minimum warranty period of one (1) year.

Qualification Requirements
Main Qualification Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of two (2) similar contracts that have been successfully and substantially completed within the last five (5) years, each with a contract value of at least GMD 45,000,000.00. Evidence of completion must be provided with the bid submission.
Delivery Terms
First Batch Delivery
12 Weeks
From the date of contract signature. Goods to be delivered to NAWEC Headquarters Store No. 2, 53 Mamadi Maniyang Highway, Kanifing.
Subsequent Deliveries
48 Hours
Subsequent deliveries under the Framework Contract must be made within 48 hours as and when required by NAWEC.
How to Participate

Obtain the Bidding Document — Submit a written application to the email addresses below and pay the non-refundable fee of GMD 10,000 by bank transfer. Submit proof of payment to the office of the Senior Procurement Manager. The document will be sent to you by email in English.

Inspect the Document — Eligible bidders may inspect the bidding document at the NAWEC Procurement Department during official hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

Submit Clarification Requests — Any inquiries or requests for clarification must be submitted no later than ten (10) days before the bid submission deadline.

Submit Your Bid — Deliver your sealed bid to the Records Office, NAWEC, 53 Mamadi Maniyang Highway, Kanifing by 12:00 PM on 11 June 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of GMD 1,800,000 from a reputable financial institution.

Attend the Bid Opening — Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of bidders’ representatives at the Boardroom, NAWEC Headquarters at 12:30 PM on 11 June 2026. Attendance is optional but encouraged.
