NAWEC Cash Office Refurbishments

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

NAWEC wishes to inform the general public that effective Friday 1st April 2022, it will embark on the rehabilitation of all customer service centers across the country. This is in line with our quest to improve the quality of customer service delivery.

 

Phase 1 of this project will include the following branches:

  1. Banjul
  2. Bakau London
  3. London Corner
  4. Serrekunda

 

The following branches will therefore be closed for renovations while temporal offices will be opened for customers as follows:

 

BANJUL

The New Temporal Office will be located some 30 meters from the current office near Serekunda Car Park in Banjul.

 

LATRIKUNDA

The new temporal office will be located along the tar road behind the water tank.

 

LONDON CORNER

For all Cash Power purchases and bill payments, cashiers will be located at just two junctions towards Saffedeen from the current NAWEC office. All other customer service operations will be done at the NAWEC Serrekunda Tank.

 

NAWEC regrets any inconvenience this may cause its valuable customers but solicits the understanding and cooperation of the general public. We take this opportunity to wish all our esteemed customers and the general public a blessed Ramadan.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT – Eid al Fitr 2021

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

NAWEC informs the general public that there shall be some slight changes in the operating hours of its cash offices in the GBA during the Eid al Fitr known as KORITEH Feast. The move is taken to ease the buying of cash power tokens and other business transactions (paying of bills and invoices) and also to give our cashiers the opportunity to perform their prayers during the day.

The operating hours of all the branches during the KORITEH feast are as follows:

BRANCH OPENING CLOSING
Kanifing 10:00am 6:00pm
Banjul, Bakau 10:00am 6:00pm
Brusubi, London Corner, Latri-kunda 10:00am 6:00pm
Brikama1, Serrekunda Tank 10:00am 6:00pm

 

Please note that these changes are for the day of KORITEH only while all other branches will remain closed during the day. Normal business service and the usual operating hours shall resume from the second day of the feast.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

NAWEC informs the general public that all its branches across the country will close at 6:00 pm every day during the holy month of RAMADAN 2021.

The changes are temporal and only for the Ramadan period. Normal business and other official transactions will resume immediately after the Koriteh prayer.

NAWEC regrets any inconvenience this may cause its valuable customers and solicits the understanding and cooperation of the general public.
