PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
NAWEC informs the general public that the current lack of water in some part of the GBA is as a result of the following;
- Twelve boreholes are down early morning in Brikama due to earth fault.
- Serrekunda Water treatment Plant is currently shut down due to maintenance on the borehole lines.
The engineers are working hard to identify the problems and fix as soon as possible. This may take some few hours to complete.
NAWEC solicits your usual understanding and cooperation. Normal service shall be restored as soon as the maintenance is completed.
