PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Shutdown of Brikama Power Station
As part of the on-going modification works for the connection of the new Brikama (3) Power Station to the electricity network, NAWEC will shut down the out-going 33KV lines for final connection today Thursday 13th February 2020 from 15:00hrs to 18:00hrs.
As a result the following areas will experience power outage during the period.
- Whole of Foni
- Brikama
- Farato
- Mandinarin
- Busumbala
- Sanyang
- Jambajelly
- Tujereng
- Sheraton Hotel
- Banjulinding
- Some parts of the GBA
NAWEC therefore apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause while soliciting your usual understanding and cooperation. Normal service will be restored as soon as the connection is completed. Thank you.
