{"id":949,"date":"2021-11-08T08:43:23","date_gmt":"2021-11-08T08:43:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nawec.gm\/?p=949"},"modified":"2021-11-08T08:43:23","modified_gmt":"2021-11-08T08:43:23","slug":"public-announcement-shutdown-of-the-water-supply-network-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nawec.gm\/?p=949","title":{"rendered":"PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT \u2013 Shutdown of the water supply network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT &#8211; Shutdown of the water supply network<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NAWEC wishes to inform its customers that there will be a shutdown of the water supply network in the following areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7<sup>th<\/sup> November <\/strong><strong>2021 <\/strong><strong>from 8:00am \u2013 7:00pm &#8211; <\/strong><strong>BL5 (Serakunda) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>9<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong> November <\/strong><strong>2021 <\/strong><strong>from 8:00am \u2013 7:00pm &#8211; <\/strong><strong>Exposing BL14 and BL18A (Serakunda 300m non-running line) <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>10<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong> November <\/strong><strong>2021 <\/strong><strong>from 8:00am \u2013 7:00pm &#8211; <\/strong><strong>connection Bl14 and BL18A<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>1<\/strong><strong>1<sup>th<\/sup> November <\/strong><strong>2021 <\/strong><strong>from 8:00am \u2013 7:00pm &#8211; <\/strong><strong>BL22\/K20 &#8220;T&#8221;connection with our 160dia.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This shut down is required to facilitate the transfer of customers from the old water supply line to the new water pipes installed as part of the Asbestos Replacement project. As a result, the water supply in the following areas will be interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>We, therefore, ask that you collect and store sufficient water during this period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Areas to be affected include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Latrikunda<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Kanifing, <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> pipeline <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Serekunda<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Fajara<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> K. Point<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Dippa Kunda<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> London corner<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete this project.
