PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

NAWEC informs the general public that it will shut down the outgoing 33KV lines for the final connection of the new power station in Brikama on Thursday 30th April 2020.\u00a0 The connection which is part of the on-going works for the incorporation of Brikama (3) Power Station to the grid will last for four hours beginning from10:00am to 14:00pm<\/p>\n

As a result the following areas will experience some interruptions in the power supply during the period:<\/p>\n

  3. Brikama<\/li>\n
  4. Farato<\/li>\n
  5. Mandinarin<\/li>\n
  6. Busumbala<\/li>\n
  7. Sanyang<\/li>\n
  8. Jambajelly<\/li>\n
  9. Tujereng<\/li>\n
  10. Sheraton Hotel<\/li>\n
  11. Banjulinding<\/li>\n
  12. Part of the Greater Banjul Area<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It may affect the water supply too.<\/p>\n
