It reflects NAWEC&#8217;s commitment to transparent governance and its obligation \u2014 under the World Bank&#8217;s Environmental and Social Standard 10 (ESS10) \u2014 to ensure that no community is left behind in the decisions that affect them.<\/p>\n    <p>The Gambia&#8217;s electricity access rate has grown from 60 percent in 2018 to 74 percent in 2024, and is projected to reach 90 percent by 2026.
