The briefing brought together media representatives and officials from both institutions to highlight the purpose and outcomes of the visit.<\/p>\n    <p>The working visit is centred on expanding long-term collaboration between the two sister utilities in the areas of electricity and water service delivery. NAWEC and EAGB already maintain close ties through major regional frameworks, including the Organisation pour la Mise en Valeur du fleuve Gambie (OMVG) and the West African Power Pool (WAPP), both of which support energy interconnection and cross-border electricity trade across the sub-region.<\/p>\n    <p>During the press engagement, the EAGB delegation expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by NAWEC throughout the visit.
