Key priorities include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"1042\">\n<li data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"757\">\n<p data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"757\">Expanding power generation capacity, particularly through <strong data-start=\"734\" data-end=\"754\">renewable energy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"835\">\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"835\">Strengthening <strong data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"816\">transmission and distribution networks<\/strong> for reliability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"909\">\n<p data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"909\">Advancing <strong data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"881\">policy and regulatory reforms<\/strong> to support sector growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"910\" data-end=\"978\">\n<p data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"978\">Promoting <strong data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"952\">regional power integration<\/strong> and cross-border trade.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1042\">\n<p data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1042\">Building <strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1012\">climate resilience<\/strong> and fostering green growth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1263\">The launch marks a milestone in the country\u2019s energy transition journey, reflecting the <strong data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1229\">commitment of the Government of The Gambia, NAWEC, MoPEM, development partners, and investors<\/strong> to transform the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1451\">International stakeholders have already expressed strong interest in supporting the Compact, positioning The Gambia to mobilize resources and investments for sustainable energy
