Its core mission is \u201cTo ensure the provision of sustainable, safe, accessible, affordable, and reliable electricity, water, and sewerage services to satisfy customer needs, achieve financial stability, and contribute to the Socio-Economic Development of The Gambia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Though NAWEC\u00a0 has undergone much transformation and change in recent years NAWEC still faces many challenges as it endeavours to deliver on its mission. With the continuing vital assistance of Government, Donors and Lenders\u00a0 NAWEC\u00a0 is determined to expand and improve its Water and Electricity infrastructure and develop its systems and people\u00a0 to meet its principle objective of a radical expansion in customer access across the country.<\/p>\n<p>To progress NAWEC\u2019s\u00a0 Mission and drive the Transformation NAWEC seeks to recruit a <strong>Chief Operations Officer for Water &amp; Sewerage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>The Role<\/h4>\n<p>The COO Water and Sewerage will be\u00a0 responsible for the provision of\u00a0 affordable, accessible and quality water and sewage services to the people and businesses of The Gambia.<\/p>\n<h4>The Person<\/h4>\n<p>Must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0 recognized Professional 3rd Level Qualification.
