Under the Tender process, there will be a public opening of all bids received as stated in 9 below.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The <strong>National Water and Electricity Company<\/strong> has budgeted <em>funds for the <\/em><strong>WATER NETWORK IMPROVEMENT<\/strong>. It is intended that part of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract design and construction of the water main replacement and water distribution system improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>The <strong><em>National Water and Electricity Company<\/em><\/strong> now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the <strong>Water Network Improvement. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Water Supply \u2013 Lot 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>1.1\u00a0 C4 to Jambur Mosque Intersection Raw Water Transmission Line<\/em><\/strong> Replacement \u2013 The works for the C4 Borehole to Jambur Mosque Intersection Transmission Line includes:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>a. supply of all labour, plant, tools and materials for the construction of works\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 for the replacement of approximately 2.4Km of DN 250mm UPVC water\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 transmission main from C4 Borehole to Jambur Mosque. The new main must be\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 constructed with PE100 OD 280mm HDPE pipe. The pressure rating of the pipe must not\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 be less than PN12.5<\/p>\n<p>b.
