  1. The Republic of The Gambia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Electricity Restoration and Modernization Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Supply and Installation of Hardware and Software for NAWEC Call Center For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank\u2019s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing<\/li>\n
  2. The National Water and Electricity Company Limited (NAWEC) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Installation of Hardware and Software for NAWEC Call Center as follows. Scope of the contract includes:<\/li>\n
  3. Call Center Hardware<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    (I) Layer 2 Switch (Quantity:1)<\/p>\n

    (II) Router (Quantity:1)<\/p>\n

    (III) 24U Server Rack (Quantity:1)<\/p>\n

    (IV) CCTV System (Quantity:1)<\/p>\n

    (V) 65\u201d Smart TV (Quantity:1)<\/p>\n

    (VI) Client Desktop PC (Quantity: 5)<\/p>\n

    (VII) Biometric Access Control (Quantity: 2)<\/p>\n

    (IX) Power Backup System (Quantity: 2)<\/p>\n

    1. Installation and Deployment of network devices, power supply devices, computer accessories, and provide connectivity to any other devices necessary to work over that network.<\/li>\n
    2. Training and Technology Transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank\u2019s \u201cProcurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers\u201d (July 1st, 2016, revised in November 2017 and August 2018) (\u201cProcurement Regulations\u201d), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$150. The method of payment will be electronic transfer. The document will be sent by courier mail.<\/li>\n
          2. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before12:00 p.m. of 5th<\/sup> February 2024.<\/em><\/strong> Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders\u2019 designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12:30 p.m. of 5th<\/sup> February 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n
          3. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of US$3,000<\/strong><\/li>\n
          4. The Basic qualification requirements are as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            A minimum number of 1 contract for similar items completed in the last 5 years, with each contract being not less than US$100,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder\u2019s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.<\/li>\n
