NAWEC is pleased to inform the public especially the residents of Basse that the recent incident that happened in our water tank in Basse prompting us to carry out a laboratory test, the test results are out, and the water is safe for drinking. All the physicochemical and microbiological parameters tested are within the recommended guidelines set by the World Health Organization for drinking quality water.

NAWEC would like to thank its customers in Basse for their patience and cooperation during this time. NAWEC is committed to ensuring the safety and quality of its water supply and will continue to monitor the situation closely to prevent future incidents.
